Stepping off the runway to network television, supermodel Molly Sims stars in NBC’s hit series “Las Vegas,” as the manipulative Delinda Deline, daughter of “Sin City’s” premier surveillance chief, Ed Deline (James Caan). A native of Murray, Kentucky, Sims attended Vanderbilt University where she was studying to become a lawyer until -- prompted by her roommate -- she attempted to begin a modeling career. Shortly after her first professional shots were seen, Sims was signed by NEXT Models, which quickly relocated her to London. In a few years, her career soared while she graced the covers of such highly acclaimed magazines as Mademoiselle, French and Spanish Vogue, Marie Claire, Allure and Cosmopolitan.

Perhaps most recognized for her sultry images seen in the highly renowned “Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue” for three consecutive years, Sims has also been featured in advertising campaigns for Old Navy, Victoria’s Secret, M&M’s, Nautica, Armani, Chanel, H&M and Maidenform. She is the spokeswoman for Cover Girl cosmetics. In May, Sims was featured in Maxim Magazine’s “Hot 100.”

Sims’ foray into television came five years ago when she landed the coveted role as host of MTV’s “House of Style,” which gave her the courage to explore an acting career.

Currently, Sims is filming the new Adam Sandler comedy “The Benchwarmers,” co-starring Sandler and Rob Schneider. Recently, Sims completed work on the indie comedy feature “Venus & Vegas” and splits her time between New York and Los Angeles with her favorite partners – her puppies. Her birthday is May 25 (source NBC).
