If you remember in the end of the episode 4.23 "Junk in the Trunk,"
Tommy was telling Ed i have kids in college i need the money, and whats going on is the Montecito going down as in, like are we going to be out of a job?

So my guess is that Tommy is behind the robbery that took place in the season 4 finale "Heroes" (Even though Tommy has been with the Montecito and good friends with Ed) hmm... we'll have to wait and find out but this is my guess!!!
