Message: We Deserve A Real Ending As many of you have heard, Las Vegas has been cancelled by NBC. Yes, you read that right. They have cancelled the show after five years on a cliffhanger. No farewell episodes, no nothing. A lovely cliffhanger is the ending we are rewarded with after all these years. It's time to tell NBC that enough is enough. Ending a long running series with a cliffhanger is no way to treat fans. How can NBC expect fans to invest in their network if they continually end long running shows on cliffhangers? It's bad business and very unfair to fans who follow their shows year after year. After five years of being loyal viewers, we deserve more from NBC. We deserve a real ending to the series we have been loyal to all these years. So Vegas fans, it's time to do something about it. We aren't going to allow NBC to think they can dump us so easily...which is why we launched: The Save Las Vegas Campaign: Operation Baby Booty The heart of the campaign consists of sending as many boxes of baby socks as you can to Ben Silverman, the head of NBC (his address is listed below.) You can go out and buy the socks yourself or you can make a paypal donation to the site and we will buy and ship all the socks out. In addition to sending socks, please also send as many letters as you possibly can to Mr. Silverman. In your letters and shipments please make sure to express the fact that you want a real ending to your favorite show. That's the goal of the campaign - to get Vegas a real ending.

Site Update
Hi everyone, though our message board has remained active in my absence - I do want to apologize for the lack of updates to the main site. Life has been crazy and I haven't had time to make the proper updates. But as my life settles down a bit, I should be able to make more regular updates. But as always, please refer to our forum for all the up to date Vegas and Cast news posted frequently by our members. Now on to the show news.
Vegas Show News
As already announced on our message board a while back, we are ending the Baby Booty Campaign. We have been told by our sources at NBC, that NBC has decided against giving us an ending as of right now. We felt that in light of that news, it was best to end the campaign especially when considering the amount of money and time that's been put into it. I just want to say thank you to everyone who participated. It's been a heck of a fight and it's a shame that we didn't get the real ending we deserved out of it.
Vegas fans truly are the best and I really hope that NBC rewards us one day with a real finale to the series.
Cast News
The cast has been crazy busy after finishing up Vegas. Josh is in a few feature films coming in the next year or two, including Transformers 2. Molly continues to model and will also be in a few movies in the next year or two. James Lesure has joined the cast of NBC's Lipstick Jungle. Look for new episodes this fall. Vanessa Marcil has a few independent films coming out, including one made for Hallmark titled "The Nanny Diaries." She has the starring role of the nanny. The movie will air on the Hallmark Channel on January 10th.
In my next update, I will have more specifics on all of these projects, along with many new pictures.
**edited to add - you can now leave comments. I've also gotten numerous emails asking if I've seen GST's recent comments saying he is doing everything he can to give us an ending. I just want to let everyone know that I have seen the comments, but it unfortunately doesn't change the fact that NBC refuses to give us the ending regardless of Gary's efforts. But even so, as I said above, it's one of those never say never things and I do hope that NBC sees the light one of these days and gives fans the ending we all deserve.
As promised, Ausiello from TVGuide.com asked Ben Silverman point blank if he was going to give Vegas fans an ending at NBC upfronts earlier this week. Below is Ben's response.
TVGuide - Ben Silverman Q&A
Question: I have been waiting and waiting to hear if there will be a resolution to Las Vegas. Will we get to know what happens to Danny's and Delinda's baby? Where was Coop when everyone thought he was dead? And who ends up with the casino? Inquiring minds need to know and having Danny and Delinda walk across the screen with a baby in Knight Rider just ain't gonna cut it! Joanne
Ausiello: There may be room for some cautious optimism. I cornered Ben Silverman at Monday's NBC upfront Experience soiree and asked him point-blank whether he plans to give Vegas fans some closure in the form of a wrap-up movie and he didn't say no. Just the opposite, in fact. He said he would very much like to make that happen, although he hedged when I pressed him on the who-what-where-when. Now it's entirely possible he was just blowing smoke up this Aushole, but, color me naοve, the dude sounded sincere.

So there you have it. The time is now. I think we should make a huge push to get our ending starting right now. It's make it or break it time. So donate if you can, send as many letters as you can, ect. It's now or never! -->[ Make A Donation.]

Sorry for the lack of updates, my personal life is extremely hectic at the moment. But here is the latest!
NBC announced yesterday that the fifth season of Las Vegas will hit stores on DVD on July 22nd. As of right now the special features are:
*Gag Reel
*NBC.com Webcasts
*Hot Stuff (no clue what that is)
*VFX Featurette (special effects)
The DVDs are subject to change. If NBC gets smart and decides to give us an ending the ending can easily be added to the discs with only a slight push back in the DVD release date.[Read The Full Write Up About The DVDs]
TVGuide managed to corner Ben Silverman at the NBC upfronts yesterday and asked him about a Vegas ending. They will be printing his response soon. Look for some possible info on TVGuide.com tomorrow. This could be make or break time everyone.
I also encourage everyone to keep donating the baby booties. We will keep right on sending them as long as we can get donations. We only have a few weeks left to make this happen! We still need $214 to ship our next batch of booties. Keep it up everyone:) [Donate To The Campaign]

Gary's Interview
Gary was interviewed today about Knight Rider and in his interview he mentions the Vegas Fan Campaign and how Ben Silverman is begging him to find a way to make the booties stop coming. It's nice to hear how our boxes of booties are stacked in Silverman's office! Help us send our next shipment of booties. Donations have been lagging a bit so we really need everyone's help. Every little bit helps! -->[ Make A Donation.]
Here is the Vegas part of Gary's Interview:
KRO: Someone asked me to ask you if there were going to be any Las Vegas crossovers.
Gary Scott Thompson: Well Vegas was cancelled so I don't know. It got cancelled on a cliffhanger that said "to be continued" and I know that when I walk down to ben Silverman's office there's going to be more stacks of boxes of baby booties since all the fans are sending in booties to save Danny and Delinda's baby and he's been begging me to make them stop. And I'm like dude, I don't want to hear this, you're the one who cancelled the show. We're talking about boxes and boxes. A lot of people talked about it. One of the writers who was from Vegas said hey, we should have Danny and Delinda walk through and not say anything, with a baby in their arms and just walk through an episode. And kind of look at Mike and wink or something. But no, as of right now there's no plan for that (laughs). By the way, it wouldn't be a bad idea considering the amount of fans of Vegas, at least to pull them over (laughs). You can read the whole interview: -->[ Here.]

TVGuide News
Micheal Ausiello from TVGuide responded to a fans questions today about the status of a Vegas ending. I know everyone flipped out about his response but I encourage everyone to not get too upset. It's just one idea of many being considered as a last resort if Ben Silverman doesn't cave and give us our ending. Here's the TVGuide piece:
Question: Any news on the Las Vegas front? Has Ben Silverman come to his senses and agreed to give fans a real ending? Donna
Ausiello: Yes and no. Yes, I have some news on the Las Vegas front, but it doesn't involve Ben Silverman coming to his senses re: Vegas. According to one of my NBC moles, exec producer Gary Scott Thompson who's now helming the Peacock's Knight Rider reboot has devised a Plan B in the event that Vegas is not given a proper farewell. And, apparently, said plan involves Josh Duhamel and Molly Simms walking through an episode of Knight Rider cradling a newborn baby! I. Kid. You. Not. [Source]
