I'm going to reguraly post the ratings of NBC so that we can witness the failings of NBC and have a great laugh.

Monday 25/2/08

QUOTE
Second overall was NBC care of Deal or No Deal (Viewers: #1: 15.33 million; A18-49: #1, 4.2/11), week two of reality/competition My Dad is Better Than Your Dad (Viewers: #3: 7.81 million; A18-49: #3, 2.8/ 7), and deteriorating drama Medium (Viewers: #3, 7.60 million; A18-49: #2, 2.6/ 7). Compared to it’s week-ago debut (Viewers: 9.81 million; A18-49: 3.5/ 8 on Feb. 18), My Dad is Better Than Your Dad dropped by 2.21 million viewers and 20 percent among adults 18-49. And the retention out of Deal or No Deal was just 50 percent in total viewers and 67 percent among adults 18-49. So, yes…that makes it a “loser.”

QUOTE
In series-premiere news, MySpace.com drama Quarterlife debuted on NBC with an almost invisible 3.86 million viewers and a 1.6/ 4 among adults 18-49 at 10 p.m. Considering the performance at 10:30 p.m. dipped by 960,000 viewers (4.34 to 3.38 million) and 22 percent among adults 18-49 (1.8/ 5 to 1.4/ 4), the few viewers who tuned in apparently did not like what they saw. Retention for Quarterlife out of the last half-hour of lead-in The Biggest Loser (Viewers: 9.70 million; A18-49: 3.8/ 9 at 9:30 p.m.) was a mere 40 percent in viewers and 42 percent among adults 18-49.

OUCH :D

Ratings Thursday 28/9

QUOTE

snip

Capping off the 9 p.m. hour was a repeat of CBS’ CSI (Viewers: #3, 11.60 million; A18-49: #4, 3.0/ 7, NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice (Viewers: #4, 7.62 million; A18-49: #3, 3.1/ 8), and a repeat of the CW’s Reaper (Viewers: #5, 1.53 million; A18-49: #5, 0.6/ 2), which moved into the Thursday 9 p.m. hour yesterday. Based on next week’s preview, let’s hope that it is Omarosa who is history on Celebrity Apprentice.

snip

Rounding off the hour was NBC’s Lipstick Jungle at just 5.75 million viewers and a 2.5/ 7 in the demo.

I'm really starting to believe we have to deal with people with an IQ of 60!!! Lipstick jungle sucks and they still promote it like crazy!!! It's not fair!!! LV has to come back not just for us but also for NBC, so it seems...

Friday 29/2

QUOTE
CBS won this typically uneventful Friday, with a first-place finish in households, total viewers and adults 18-49. But not even cracking 8 million viewers in total or a 2-rating among adults 18-49 is nothing to boast about.

In the battle of the 8 p.m. game shows it was no contest, with CBS’ The Price is Right considerably ahead of the time period premiere of NBC’s Amnesia. Take a look:

Friday 8 p.m.
The Price is Right (CBS)
Viewers: 9.47 million (#1), A18-49: 2.2 rating/7 share (#1)

Amnesia (NBC)
Viewers: 5.10 million (#3), A18-49: 1.4/ 5 (#3)

Compared to it’s week-ago debut (Viewers: 7.44 million; A18-49: 2.4/ 7 on Friday, Feb. 22 at 9 p.m.), Amnesia dipped by a hefty 2.34 million viewers and 42 percent among adults 18-49. Did NBC really think this game show could anchor Friday after just one telecast?

Also airing from 8-9 p.m. was a repeat of Fox’s Bones (Viewers: #2, 6.38 million; A18-49: #2, 1.6/ 5), which is scheduled to return in originals on Monday, April 28 at 8 p.m. ET, the first hour of the CW’s departing Friday Night Smackdown! (Viewers: #4, 4.45 million; A18-49: #4, 1.3/ 5), and a repeat of Grey’s Anatomy on ABC (Viewers: #5, 4.19 million; A18-49: #5, 1.2/ 4). Overall, Friday Night Smackdown! averaged a consistent 4.69 million viewers and a 1.4/ 5 among adults 18-49 from 8-10 p.m.

At 9 p.m., leadership was mixed between a repeat of CBS’ Ghost Whisperer and a repeat of Fox’s House as follows:

Friday 9 p.m.
Ghost Whisperer R (CBS)
Viewers: 7.04 million (#1), A18-49: 1.9/ 6 (#2t)

House R (Fox)
Viewers: 6.95 million (#2), A18-49: 2.1/ 6 (#1)

Also airing from 9-10 p.m. was the first of two hours of ABC’s 20/20 (Viewers: #3, 6.54 million; A18-49: #2t, 1.9/ 6), the first of two hours of NBC’s Dateline (Viewers: #4, 5.95 million; A18-49: #4t, 1.6/ 5), and the second half of Friday Night Smackdown! on the CW (Viewers: #5, 4.93 million; A18-49: #4t, 1.6/ 5). The CW’s loss will, no doubt, be MyNetworkTV’s gain next season.

The second half of NBC’s Dateline won the 10 p.m. hour, with 7.74 million viewers and a 2.3/ 7 among adults 18-49. Comparably, that beat the second hour of ABC’s 20/20 (Viewers: #3, 6.53 million; A18-49: #2, 2.1/ 6) by 1.21 million viewers and 10 percent in the demo. Take a look at the two-hours of Dateline versus the two-hours of 20/20.

Friday 9-11 p.m.
Dateline (NBC)
Viewers: 6.85 million, A18-49: 1.9/ 6

20/20 (ABC)
Viewers: 6.54 million, A18-49: 2.0/ 6

I would call that a draw, wouldn’t you?

Capping off the 10 p.m. hour was a repeat of CBS’ Numb3rs with 7.32 million viewers and a 1.8/ 5 among adults 18-49.

Source: Nielsen Media Research data (R = repeat)

Amnesia is being crushed. What I would like to know is what happened at 10pm. There is a huge increase between the 1st and 2nd hour of dateline.

well i think NBC has to think clearly now and have to realize if they would bring Las Vegas back it wouldn't hurt them at all!!! The rating of amnesia against the price is right is very painful!!!

Actually, NBC won the 10pm hour which will probably make them unlikely to care about LV being gone. If they can win with a cheap news show, why pay to have an expensive show like LV on? But then again CBS is in reruns.
